The Truman High School Environmental Club is an environmental club located in Harry S. Truman High School in Levittown, Pennsylvania. We are constantly striving for the environmental conservation in our school community, as well as our community around us. We have been together for almost 10 years, and each year we get better and better.
Our main goal this year and so on is to provide our school, Harry S. Truman, with a more Eco-friendly way of saving energy, solar panels. Together with you, our school community, and the people around us, we are becoming more and more closer to our group goal. We love to recycle, volunteer our time as a group at different clean-up events, and especially keep our school clean.
Our moderator and club owner, Lars McGee, is a Biology and Science teacher at Truman. He loves to keep our school clean, and he works non stop to keep our goals alive. Lars is a huge part of many community clean-ups, as well as being a teacher, and a good one at that. Lars is the reason that our club is alive today, and we are very happy about that.
We know, as a group of intellectual students, between the ages of 14 to 18, that the environment isn't just going to clean itself up. We know that it takes courage and time to meet our goals. We have a working greenhouse, a fantastic recycling program, and a group of students that love to help our school and community out.
We are still going strong, and we will keep on working strenuously until our goals are met.
Thank you for visiting our website, we really appreciate it. Keep updated with us for current events and photo galleries of the fantastic things that we are doing.
Thank you and Most Sincerely,
